Yesterday it was exactly 3 months (crazy) since I started blogging. At first, I didn’t have any expectations whatsoever about how this would go, but I’m happy to report that my experience has been nothing but overwhelmingly positive. So, I think it’s time for me to take a moment to talk about the blogs I’ve been loving. This list is already ridiculously long, so I better get on with it before it becomes even longer.
Amy @ A Fangirl’s Opinion was one of the first people that made me feel welcome in the community—she even tagged me on my first tag! Also, I have to thank her because I’ve taken this post idea from her periodic ones (which I read religiously and find many great bloggers from). Her blog is beautiful and she is super kind, so go check her page out! If you want to have a laugh, you should read her Reading 1 Star Reviews of My Favourite Books post.
Morgan @ Morgan is Reading Again is a blogger who also made me feel really welcome. They were even my first ever reading buddy (we read In The Dream House together). It was soon very apparent to me that we had lots of things in common! Their posts are always gorgeous and super entertaining, as you can see in their July wrap up.
I’m pretty sure Ritz @ Living, Loving and Reading was one of the first people to comment on my blog which, as you can imagine was a very exciting moment for me. Her writing voice is great and super enjoyable to read! She just shared some Life Updates & Future Blogging Plans!
Rania @ Rania’s Rambling Reads writes super imaginative posts like her Recommending Books Based on Their Levels of Sass but also more serious ones like Let’s Talk About Down Syndrome and Autistic Representation in YA. Either of those styles are super engaging reads, so there’s really something for everyone.
There’s Sofii @ A Book. A Thought., to whom I owe a very big thank you to, because I found many of my favourite bloggers through her book blogger list and she was also kind enough to add me when I had just gotten started here! She is super interactive (which I adore) and always has a nice word to say. She also always writes super interesting posts, like her Books with Shocking & Impressive Writing Styles.
Angele @ Angele Reads Books is another super sweet blogger. Her blog is super aesthetically pleasing and shooting (I think this has a lot to do with the earth tones). I’m pretty sure she’s currently in somewhat of a break, but I can’t wait until she’s back writing! In the meantime, I’m going to recommend her Review: Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert post.
Bertie @ Luminosity Library writes really interesting posts from a wide range of topics. Their thoughts are always really well put together, and even if they’re talking about something unknown to me, they do so in a way that’s easy to understand. One of my favourite reads is their Ableist Tropes 101: Miracle Cure post.
Zoë @ Reading By The Moonlight constantly inspires me to branch out and read some classics that I might have been intimidated by in the past. She has a series called “Spotlight On” where she discusses different authors, and it’s one of my favourites. Her latest was Spotlight On: F. Scott Fitzgerald!
I found Aisling @ Aisling Hamill Books through her The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller – A Review post, and I loved her style immediately. I’m usually not drawn to reviews, but there was just something about it. One of my favourite posts from Aisling has to be her A tour of Cambridge’s bookshops post.
Hal @ HD’s Reading Life was the first blogger with lots of queer content that I found and that was a suuuuper exciting moment. I live for their recommendations, from posts like Matching Queer 2021 Releases With Your Zodiac Sign. Every time they publish a post, I end up with at least three new books on my TBR.
Birdie @ Birdie’s Booktopia is a blogger with fantastic posts and an overall gorgeous blog—the birds design never fails to make me smile. I love literally all of her content—I’m not kidding when I say her posts are super engaging. My current favourite is her Interview with Katie Zhao.
Finally, I want to mention Kristin @ Kristin Kraves Books. She produces a crazy amount of content (I literally have no idea how she does it), and it’s all so good. I especially love her discussion posts, like her What Makes a Book Five Stars? post.
I’ve decided to stop the list here for no other reason that I need to stop somewhere!! but there are many more bloggers that I adore. I’ll probably have to write a part two of this as soon as possible. In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed this and hopefully found some new bloggers to check out and spread the love!
Please, feel free to share some of your own favourite bloggers and posts down below, I’m always looking for more blogs to check out!
