10 New-to-Me Book Bloggers

Today’s post is something that I wanted to write last month but wasn’t able to. As the second part to Briana @ Pages Unbound‘s challenge I’m going to be talking about some recent bloggers I found that I want to shout out. Part one was about book bloggers I’d been loving, but this part gave me a chance to discover new-to-me book bloggers, which was very exciting.

1. Kat @ Life and Other Disasters

I’ve been aware of Kat for a while, but for some reason I only started following her recently, and let me tell you, it was a great choice. Her reader compatibility series with celebrities is really fun, and I loved reading Lupita Nyong’o installment.

2. Lais @ The Bookish Skies

I stumbled across Lais’ blog because someone retweeted one of her posts on twitter. It immediately caught my attention. Her post recommending books based on Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour was super up my street!

3. Erin @ Reading On A Star

I’ve been saying for a while that I want to write a post about where to buy books that isn’t Amazon, and I stumbled upon Erin’s blog while doing some research for it. I browsed around for a while and really liked what I saw. I thought her list of classics was super cool—and I will 100% be referencing it.

4. Sofia @ Bookish Wanderess

I found Sofia’s blog through this challenge and I was instantly drawn to her gorgeous blog. Her post on reading 100 pages daily was super fun and inspiring and I definitely want to give this challenge a try.

5. Sophie @ Me & Ink

I’m pretty sure I found Sophie’s blog because someone linked back to it (sorry I can’t remember who!) and oh my god, I don’t want to sound dramatic but I’ve never seen a more gorgeous blog. Not only is her layout gorgeous but I’ve loved what I’ve read so far. Her review of Hearstopper is great. Her blog also has a section for her sister to write in, and I think that’s adorable.

6. Siena @ Booksophobia

I found Siena’s blog while, once again, researching on book buying. I’ve loved the posts I’ve read so far, and I especially really enjoyed her post on buying second-hand books.

7. John @ Tales from Absurdia

Another blog I found because someone recommended it, so I decided to check it out. If I’m honest, what immediately made me follow was that he was holding Albert Camus’ The Stranger/The Outsider on his photo and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that book since I read it. I then proceeded to go on a reading binge on his blog. His SEO guide is absolutely essential.

8. May @ May’s Book Vault

I found May through another blogger, and I immediately adored that she has so many discussion-like posts. Her post on platonic love in books is especially interesting, as it’s something that doesn’t get enough attention.

9. Nicole @ Thoughts Stained with Ink

Her discussion posts are really varied and interesting. I especially enjoyed reading about changing book ratings. Her blog is also overall gorgeous with a very curated aesthetic.

10. Alicia @ A Kernel of Nonsense

Alicia is another blogger I was vaguely aware of, and this challenge gave me the excuse to finally really explore her page. I really like discussions of reading taste, so I truly enjoyed her post on expanding her reading horizons.

Do you know any of the bloggers I mentioned? What are some bloggers you followed recently? What makes you give a follow to someone?

See you next time, Maria
